Abstract Maternal mortality is one of the socio-economic problems and widely considered a serious indicator quality health. Ethiopia to be top six sub-Saharan countries with severe maternal mortality. The objective this study was investigate effects Demographic Socio-economic determinant factors in Ethiopia. Data from 2016 Health Survey indicated that sample women (15–49) (n = 10,103). Bayesian multilevel we were used explore major risk regional variations Markov chain Monte Carlo methods non-informative priors have been applied. Deviance Information Criterion model selection criteria select appropriate model. analysis result, 145 (1.43%) mothers died due pregnancy. Using random coefficient found appropriate. With model, Age mother, marital status, number living children, wealth index Education are significant determinants there within between Inference fully based on recent techniques. socioeconomic, demographic environmental included statistically significant. result has shown educational attainment, index, an age status children factor
